Quran (MTQ) yang viral di media sosial.
Video
itu menjadi sorotan saat seorang wanita pembaca Al Quran atau Qoriah
lebih memilih gugur dari lomba ketimbang melepas cadar atau penutup
wajah.
Peristiwa itu disebut-sebut terjadi dalam acara
MTQ Ke-37 Sumatera Utara di Kota Tebing Tinggi yang dibuka mulai Sabtu
(5/9/2020) lalu.
“Kejadian Di Tebing
Tinggi SuMut Acara MTQ Tingkat Provinsi. Peraturan macam apa ini.
Allahul mustaan tak terasa menetes air mata melihat ini… MasyaAllah kami
bangga denganmu ukhty fillah,” tulis laman Facebook Dakwah Masturah,
Selasa (8/9/2020).
Pada video itu, terlihat seorang
wanita berbusana hitam sedang bersiap membaca Al Quran. Dia merupakan
peserta dengan nomor penampilan 2735 pada MTQ tersebut.
Namun sebelum mulai, panitia memintanya membuka cadar. Sebab, hal itu bagian dari aturan festival ini.
“Tolong bisa dibuka cadarnya?” kata seorang panitia melalui pengeras suara.
Mendengar
permintaan itu, peserta tersebut menoleh dan untuk sejenak terdiam. Dia
kemudian meminta lelaki itu mengulang perkataannya dengan menggunakan
Bahasa Arab.
Sekali itu, pihak panitia menjawab agar peserta itu melepas cadarnya.
“Tolong dibuka cadarnya,
karena supaya tahu kita bacaannya. Sudah dibuat aturan secara nasional,
kalau enggak mau buka langsung didiskualifikasi,” kata panitia.
Wanita
itu coba meminta keringanan. Dia menawarkan agar membaca dengan posisi
mikrofon yang berada di balik cadar. Namun, panitia tetap menolak.
“La (tidak),” katanya.
Perempuan
itu kemudian menunduk. Dia diam itu beberapa saat. Dan kemudian, dia
memutuskan mundur dan bergegas pergi dari tempat acara.
Melihat
keputusan itu, panitia kemudian menjelaskan bahwa peraturan melepas
cadar saat membaca al-Quran pada festival MTQ sudah ditetapkan secara
nasional.
Bagi yang tidak mematuhi bakal didiskualifikasi.
“Peraturan
nasional. Sudah diterapkan sejak MSTQ tahun lalu di Pontianak, yang
menggunakan cadar dibuka ketika dia membaca Al Quran (pada MTQ). Saat
itu pakai, sampai mana saja pakai. Terima kasih,” kata panitia.
Sebelumnya, Gubernur Sumatera Utara Edi Rahmayadi membuka MTQ Ke-37 Sumatera Utara di Tebing Tinggi, Sabtu (5/9/2020).
Pembukaan dihadiri Wali Kota Tebing Tinggi Umar Zunaidi Hasibuan dan Ketua LPTQ Sumatera Utara Asren Nasution.
Festival
ini diikuti sebanyak 1.197 peserta dan mengusung tema “Mari kita
aktualisasikan nilai-nilai Al Qur’an guna mewujudkan SDM yang
bermartabat”.
Acara ini digelar selama tujuh hari. Yakni mulai 5-11 September 2020.
“Peserta
terdiri dari utusan kabupaten dan kota se-Sumatera Utara sebanyak 1.052
orang dan utusan Kafilah khusus sebanyak 145 orang,” kata Ketua Panitia
MTQ ke-37 Tingkat Sumatera Utara Oki Doni Siregar dalam laporannya.
Pada MTQ kali ini, terdapat beberapa cabang yang diperlombakan.
Yakni
Seni baca Al Qur’an, Hafalan Al Qur’an, Tafsir Al Qur’an, Fahmil Qur’an
PA/PI, Syarhil Qur’an PA/PI, Seni kaligrafi Al Qur’an dan Cabang Karya
tulis ilmiah Al Qur’an PA.
