Bahkan, Lussy menjelaskan, si Bule AS sampai masuk Islam alias menjadi mualaf sebelum menikahinya.
Lussy wanita berhijab yang membawa Richard alias Rizky memantapkan hati menjadi mualaf lalu menikahinya.
Lussy
pun menceritakan perjalanan suaminya bisa memeluk agama Islam di kanal
Youtube Luri Hosac dengan judul “Ceritain bagaimana bisa ketemu bule
muslim || Menikah dengan bule Muslim”.
Lussy
menjelaskan, sebenarnya suami yang akrab disapa “Mamase” masuk Islam
atas kemauannya sendiri. Dia menegaskan, Mamase mualaf bukan karena
paksaan atau hanya sekedar bisa menikahinya.
“Banyak
banget yang nanyain, gimana Mamase bisa mualaf dan bikin dia akhirnya
masuk ke muslim. Saya bakalan ceritain itu, jadi teman-teman sebetulnya
Mamase mualaf bukan karena saya atau mau menikah dengan saya,” tegas
Lussy dalam video di kanal Youtube tersebut.
Jadi, kata Lussy, suaminya baru menceritakan hal tersebut setelah menikah dan kembali ke AS.
Awalnya,
Mamase memilik seorang teman berkebangsaan Arab Saudi. Kemudian,
temannya itu bertemu seseorang di taman berkebangsaan Irak yang sedang
mencari pekerjaan.
“Nah si (teman) Arab ini, bilang ke
Mamase, ‘di perusahaan ini sedang ada lowongan pekerjaan, bisa gak saya
masukin orang Irak yang saya kenal di taman, saya yakin dia orang baik’.
Terus Mamase minta ke (teman) orang Arab untuk bilang ke orang Irak ini
kirim CV ke emailnya,” cerita Lussy.
Selanjutnya,
Mamase menelepon orang Irak tersebut untuk datang ke kantor untuk
interview. Saat itu, Mamase menerima orang Irak tersebut kerja di
perusahaan tersebut.
“Alhamdulillah orangnya
baik, saya juga pernah bertemu sama beliau. Jadi awalnya itu, Mamase
berniat ingin membawa si Irak ini ke Agama Kristen, tapi malah Mamase
yang kebawa jadi muslim, jadi kebalikannya gitu,” tutur Lussy.
“Jadi
Mamase suka nanya-nanya Islam itu bagaimana. Ternyata setelah dijawab
oleh orang Irak ini, Mamase masih kurang puas dengan jawabannya. Jadi
karena saya dan Mamase kenal sudah sekitar 7 tahun, Mamase juga
menanyakan ke saya, jawabannya pun sama. Mamase semakin penasaran dan
Mamase kaya buka Alquran untuk mempelajari apa itu Islam,” sambungnya.
Menurut
Lussy, saat ini Mamase sempat menghilang selama seminggu. Ternyata saat
ini, Mamase sedang mempelajari sendiri tentang Islam.
Seminggu
setelah itu, Mamase mengabari Lussy jika dirinya sudah menjadi mualaf.
Setelah itu, komunikasi antara keduanya semakin intens dan dekat.
“Pada
saat itu juga, Mamase suka sharing ke orang Irak ini, kalau sedang
dekat dengan cewek dari Indonesia tapi muslim. Terus akhirnya kata si
orang Irak ini, kalau kamu mau bahagia hidupnya, menikahlah dengan orang
muslim. Karena saat itu Mamase kan sudah muslim jadi satu agama gitu.
Saat itu Mamase coba lebih dekat lagi dengan aku,” kata Lussy.
Kemudian, Lussy dan Mamase semakin dekat. Keduanya, saling menanyakan mengenai kepribadian masing-masing.
“Akhirnya,
Mamase cerita ke orang Irak tadi dan mengatakan ‘kayaknya dia (Lussy)
suka sama saya, tapi gimana dia di Indonesia jauh dan tinggal di negara
Muslim terbesar di dunia,” bebernya.
Lussy menjelaskan,
saat itu Mamase sempat ragu untuk menikahinya. Namun, temannya yang
orang Irak tersebut menyemangati Mamase dan memintanya pergi untuk
menjemput jodohnya itu.
Awalnya, Lussy agak berat saat
mendengar permintaan Mamase untuk tinggal dengannya di AS setelah
menikah. Dirinya takut tidak betah dan merepotkan Mamase.
“Dia
bikin keputusan yang penting di datang (ke Indonesia) kalau kita
sama-sama suka yaudah kita nikah. Kalau gak suka ya kita udahan. Saat
bertemu kita ternyata sama-sama suka. Akhirnya Mamase ngelamar aku, di
situ pertama kali ketemu pas itu Mamase bilang yang penting gak masalah
kalau gak betah di sini (AS) nanti tinggal di Indonesia setelah dia
selesai kuliah, gitu,” urainya.
